Bread for beginners
Ingredients:
- 175 ml of water
- 1 teaspoon salt (next time I will teaspoon and a half has been a bit dull)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 15 grams of fresh yeast or yeast on freeze-dried (not the royal type, as this is only a driver)
- 310 grams of flour Wheat (white or wholemeal, although it is integral must be added a little more water)
- As optional ingredients can add sesame seeds, flax seeds, poppy seeds, wheat bran, barley flakes, oatmeal, pipes sunflower, nuts ... (In this case I have not put any of this)
Preparation:
Pour into a bowl of water and olive oil, put in microwave a few seconds, just because we only need is warm, add yeast and stir with a spoon until dissolved.
Once the above mixture is homogeneous add flour, salt and seeds that we want and stir well.
Sprinkle the top with some flour and put up the dough, knead a little until the desired shape, in this case round. If dough is too sticky add more flour if too hard a little water.
In a Pyrex'll take a tad of olive oil and using an oiled paper towel across the surface, we place our mass and with a sharp knife cuts will form a grid, paint with olive oil and sprinkle with a little flour.
We Pyrex cover and get into the oven must be switched off beforehand. We'll put it at 220 ยบ C for 40-45 minutes, until top is golden brown.
Once this is done let cool on a rack so it does not soften.
